Configuration
Series and parallel arrangement to hit your voltage and capacity, balanced for the current you actually draw.
Protection and BMS
Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short circuit and temperature, with the communication bus your system needs.
Enclosure and wiring
Shrink wrap, plastic case or a custom housing; connectors, gauge and lead lengths to your drawing.
Before you order: UN 38.3
Lithium packs cannot legally be shipped without a UN 38.3 test report. It is not paperwork you can arrange after the first delivery — carriers and customs will stop the shipment.
The test applies to the pack as built, not just to the cells, so a pack assembled from certified cells still needs its own report in most configurations.
Tell us on the quote form whether you already have a report for this exact pack. If you do not, we will include arranging the test in the quote instead of discovering the problem at the freight forwarder.
How a pack project runs
From an envelope to a certified pack
STEP 1
Requirements
Voltage, capacity, continuous and peak current, temperature range, maximum dimensions, IP rating. Rough numbers are fine to start.
STEP 2
Design proposal
We come back with a cell choice, a configuration, a BMS spec and the certification path, plus pricing at the volumes you gave us.
STEP 3
Build and test
Packs are assembled, checked and packed to lithium shipping rules, then leave Veles with the documentation the carrier needs.
Battery pack questions
Can you design the pack, or do I need a design?
We design it. Give us the electrical requirements and the space, and the proposal comes back with cells, configuration and protection chosen.
Do you supply the charger too?
We specify the charging requirements and can source a charger with the pack. Say so on the quote form.
What about shipping the finished packs?
Lithium goes as dangerous goods with a UN 38.3 report, correct packaging and labelling. We pack and document to those rules.
Can you match a pack that is being discontinued?
Often yes. Send the old pack's specification or the pack itself and we will tell you what a like-for-like replacement looks like.
