The rules we work by.

Quotations and orders

A quotation is valid for 30 days and is based on the data you supplied. If the design, the quantity or component availability changes, we requote rather than absorb the difference silently.

An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing. Component prices and lead times are confirmed at that point, not at the quotation.

Delivery dates are given in good faith and depend on component availability. If a date is going to slip you will hear it from us as soon as we know.

Your data and your design

You own your design. By sending us files you confirm that you have the right to have the product manufactured and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.

We use your files only to quote and build your order, and treat them as confidential. An NDA is available on request before we open them.

We are not responsible for design errors in files you supply. We do review files for manufacturability and will tell you what we see, but the design remains yours.

Components, substitutions and tooling

For turnkey orders we buy components against your bill of materials. Where a part is unavailable we follow the substitution policy you chose on the order: use an equivalent, ask first, or never substitute.

Component attrition is quoted with the order. Surplus components and any bare boards left over remain your property and are held for your next order or shipped with the delivery.

Stencils and any test fixtures made for your product remain your property once paid for. We keep them while your programme is active and ask before disposing of anything.

Acceptance, defects and liability

Boards are inspected against IPC-A-610 Class 2 unless you specified another class. Please inspect deliveries on arrival and tell us about any workmanship defect within 8 working days of delivery. A workmanship defect that only shows up later is covered for 12 months.

Where a defect is caused by our workmanship we will rework or replace the affected boards at our cost. Where it is caused by the design or by customer-supplied components, we will show you what we found and quote the rework.

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost production or the cost of a recall — a limit that is normal in contract manufacturing and is why the price is what it is.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Export, origin and compliance

Goods are manufactured in North Macedonia and shipped with the origin documentation needed for duty-free entry into the EU, EFTA, the UK, Türkiye and CEFTA where the goods qualify. See the trade access table.

You are responsible for import duties, taxes and any licences required in the destination country, and for confirming that your product may lawfully be sold there.

We do not manufacture for medical or aerospace applications, and orders for such use will be declined.

Using this website

Everything on velbit.com — the text, the photographs, the drawings and the code — belongs to Velbit unless it is credited otherwise. You may read it, print it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own, scrape it in bulk, or use it to train a model without asking us first.

Use the site for its purpose. Do not attempt to break it, do not upload anything you know to be malicious, and do not use the quote form to send us anything other than a genuine enquiry.

We keep the site accurate and correct mistakes when we find them, but specifications, lead times and prices published here are indicative and do not form an offer. What binds us is the written quotation and order confirmation, on the terms above.

Where we link to another company's site, we are pointing at something useful, not vouching for it. What happens there is between you and them.
