Five boards is the minimum
We do not turn away a batch for being small. Five is the floor, and it exists so a two-board order is not priced below the cost of handling it.

Low volume assembly
Ten boards, a hundred, a thousand. Low volume is the work our line is set up for — five boards is the floor, no penalty for a batch that does not fill a shift, and a price at every quantity you want to compare.
What low volume means here
We do not turn away a batch for being small. Five is the floor, and it exists so a two-board order is not priced below the cost of handling it.
Ask for three quantities on the form and the quote shows all three, so you can see exactly where the price steps down.
Running the same board every quarter? We quote the series once and release batches against it, so you hold less stock.
Setup and stencil appear as their own line rather than hidden in the unit price — that is what makes small batches honest to compare.
The second run of a board skips most of the setup. Tell us it is recurring and the quote reflects it.
Revisions are normal in low volume. Send the new files and we requote what actually changed.
Typical batches
| Batch | Typical use | What drives the price |
|---|---|---|
| 1–10 | Prototype and validation | Setup and parts, not labour |
| 10–100 | Pilot run, field trial | Parts and placement labour |
| 100–1,000 | Series production | Parts, with labour amortized over the run |
| 1,000+ | Volume production | Parts and freight — ask us about scheduled delivery |
The quantity you enter on the form drives the whole quote. Give us three and you can see the curve, not a point.
Five boards. That is the only floor, and it exists so a two-board order is not priced below the cost of handling it.
Setup is spread over more boards and parts get cheaper per unit — see the worked examples on the pricing page.
Yes, for recurring builds. Tell us the forecast on the quote form and we will quote the series with call-offs.
They stay yours. We tell you what is left after the run and hold it for the next batch, or ship it with the boards.
Enter up to three quantities on the form and the quote shows all three.
